Walk Horsfall Beach and watch the waves roll in, or summit 500 foot sand dunes by foot, horseback, or dune buggy. Outside of town, towering coastal dunes and long expanses of unbroken shoreline are a short drive away. Now Main Street, just down the road from the bridge, features walkable streets with shops, restaurants, and cafés tucked amidst those same hallmarks of Pacific Northwest life. The area was once a timber hub where daily life was built around the harbor and sawmill. The Oregon Coast’s only commercial airport also sits on the edge of the Bay, providing transportation by air to the region. Driving from the north down Highway 101, the majestic McCullough Bridge ushers travelers into the city of North Bend.
